We Jawa owners are lucky to have the original, factory published, complete
workshop manual available.
As much as those are simple and intuitive machines to work on, there are some informations that only the manual can provide. For example, did you know that primary chain should be replaced every 25000 km? Neither did I.
The manual has been available for a while now. It is in scanned pdf form, 208 pages, the file name is
"Jawa Workshop Manual.pdf", 26729354 bytes in length, in five languages (Czech,
English, French, German and Spanish).
Sorry, I cannot host it here as this site is very limited in terms of space and bandwidth.
At the moment of writing, the manual can be directly downloaded from http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/sadiez/. It is split into four parts, but it is scanned from the exactly the same source as the one-piece manual mentioned above.
Torrents are preferred way of distributing this kind of files.
If you Google for Jawa manual and exact byte length, you will probably get links to a torrent containing hundreds of different motorcycle manuals all bundled together, but it can be a bit tricky to get all the parts. Any decent torrent application will be able to download just the wanted file. I would recommend utorrent.
If everything else fails, I can share my copy of the manual (600 kbps upload link). I have created this torrent containing only the mentioned Jawa workshop manual. You should first ask me to make it available as I don't regularly run torrents. Once you obtain the manual, please share it on!
